Afternoon Edition: A hodgepodge of news
In today’s Afternoon Edition of Funeral Director Daily we bring you a “hodgepodge” of news stories. I’m not so sure that I know what “hodgepodge” means, but I’ve heard it used in situations where nothing seems to be relevant to anything else. . . . And, that is kind of how our death care news stories are today.
We are bringing you a small item from New Jersey that tells of burial benefits for those killed on the job is increasing. We bring you a story of a North Carolina funeral home with a long history. We bring you a story that brings an investment for the times we are living in — a Great Britain chain of crematoria spending to give their facilities updated audio visual equipment in order to give their client families a “First Class” webcasting function.
Finally, we offer a story (with photos) from New Hampshire where a cemetery has been eroding into a river and the cemetery is being moved. . .one grave at a time.
