National Cemetery Administration receives top honor

Three years ago the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) that administers the veteran cemeteries across our nation and care for the hallowed land where our military veterans rest, received a score of 96 in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (AMSI).  Obviously, that is a very high level on the 1-100 ACSI scale.

However, the NCA was just notified, as you can see in this letter to its partners and friends, that their Customer Satisfaction index score in 2019 was 97 — which represents the highest result ever achieved for any organization in either the public or private sector.

Randy Reeves, the director of the agency stated, “The personal dedication and commitment of you and your organizations to NCA’s sacred mission ensures Veterans and their families receive the world class customer service befitting their service and sacrifice and ensures “No Veteran Ever Dies. . .”

Funeral Director Daily take:  As a funeral director I am proud to work with this type of organization which is somewhat reflective of what we do — if the committal service is not fundamentally sound with honors – our client families many times look at that as a reflection on the funeral home.  They don’t always know any different.

We all have favorite partners and colleagues we work with to memorialize our clients as to their wishes.  It’s great to be able to count on our National Cemetery partners with this high level of competence as shown by these scores.

Furthermore, it is only befitting to our military veteran citizens that our nation will accept no less on their behalf.
