Victoriaville & Co. to acquire Pennsylvania-based casket company

 

There is no doubt that the Death Care profession continues to consolidate and it is not only true of retail funeral establishments.  You can read in this press release about Victoriaville & Co. announcing that they are acquiring certain assets of the Schuylkill Haven Casket Company and Columbia Caskets Corporation.

 

Here’s what the press release announces, “Victoriaville & Co. is pleased to announce the signing of a binding agreement to acquire certain assets of Schuylkill Haven Casket Company and Columbia Caskets Corporation, dba Haven Line Industries, based in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. . . “

 

The President of Haven Line Industries, Tina D. Houck, made this comment in the press release, “Haven Line Industries has a proud heritage dating back to 1919”.  Both companies have earned a reputation for value and service and this transaction will result in a great blending of two family-operated iconic brands.
