Titan Casket names “Brand Ambassador”

Titan Casket isn’t your normal funeral supply company.  They are a little edgy and they take their case directly to the consumer, although they have a program for funeral homes to partner with them, too.  They aren’t afraid of stepping on a few historical funeral toes.

In one way, however, they are not much different than the historical funeral homes. . . . that commonality is that like historical funeral homes. . . .they will go out of their way to help families in need.  In the case of Titan. . . it is about helping with casket selection, purchasing, and delivery.  And, they have now grown with their warehouses and distribution system where they are truly a national company.

To that end of increasing service and to bring more visibility to their products, just last week they named film star David Dastmalchian as their “Brand Ambassador”.  It’s probably a testament to Titan Casket’s “edginess”that the press release naming Dastmalchian was announced and came out in the Hollywood Reporter on Friday the 13th (October 2023).  Dastmalchian recently had a role in the summer blockbuster “Oppenheimer” but has also been known to appear in more “spooky” genre movies.

According to the article in the Hollywood Reporter that you can read here, Dastmalchian had this to say about his role with Titan Casket, “It’s an honor to represent Titan Casket, a brand that’s not only making end-of-life planning more accessible and affordable, but also initiating crucial conversations around it.  If I had known about Titan Casket and the right to buy my own casket, I would have been spared some heartache. The savings, convenience, and education that Titan offers while purchasing a casket is so important, and normalizing end of life planning is an important conversation I look forward to having in the months to come.”

A statement attributed to the founders of Titan Casket in the press release went as such, ““We are delighted to have David Dastmalchian join the Titan family. David’s authenticity, talent, and dedication to meaningful storytelling is a perfect match with our mission. We believe that with David joining the national conversation around modern funeral planning, we can help millions of more families have more meaningful and affordable outcomes.”

Tom I’m interested to know what percentage of Titan caskets come from China since they own warehouses and not factories per their website.
