Parting Stone’s Justin Crowe to appear on Shark Tank

Parting Stone, the company that has pioneered “solidified remains” for cremation remains, will be represented on ABC’s Shark Tank this Friday evening by founder and CEO Justin Crowe.  According to a press release from Parting Stone, “. . . Crowe will be pitching the service on the April 7th episode of Shark Tank”.

The company press release continues with this statement from Crowe, “When I pitched on Shark Tank, I shared three years of data and experience from death care professionals who believed in us. We’ve now worked with 5,000 families. The death care profession took me and Parting Stone under its wing, and I am so grateful for that. The airing on April 7th is an opportunity for the death care industry at-large to be center stage, showing families the value of cremation experiences.

Parting Stone worked with material scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory to develop solidified remains to help create a more positive experience for grieving families with a form of remains that can be touched and held.

Again, according to Parting Stone CEO Crowe, “It’s a profound healing opportunity for everyone in the family to hold their loved one again, but the look and feel of cremated remains makes that experience deeply uncomfortable.  We developed a new form of solidified remains that resemble stones to help families feel a connection with their departed loved ones.”

The episode featuring Parting Stone is scheduled to air on Friday, April 7, 2023, on ABC with a starting time of 8 pm Eastern and 7 pm Central time.
