“Modern Retail” tells us Titan Casket’s strategy for disrupting an industry

 

 

I often tell people in funeral service that with Funeral Director Daily  “I don’t break the news, I just tell those in the profession what I’ve heard, what I’m seeing, and what my opinion on the subject is.”  I’ve secured a pretty good following by doing that and giving busy death care professionals a quick synopsis of what is happening every day in the profession.

 

Sometimes, however, I’ll read an article that I believe is not too lengthy and can give viewpoints on an issue in their own right that don’t need to be restated for the simplicity of the audience.  I just hapened to read this article yesterday from the magazine “Modern Retail” entitled “Inside Titan’s strategy to disrupt the casket industry”.

 

I thought it was concise and an excellent read. . . .so much so that I want to present it to you in its entirety and let those of you who know this business decide on your own if the principals of Titan Casket have figured out the secret to getting death care consumers comfortable in buying that casket purchase online.

    Does this Titan Casket not disclose (on their website) where these caskets are manufactured? I wonder how veterans’ families would feel knowing that their loved one was being interred in a casket not made in the United States.
