“Grief doesn’t wait for a convention”

Grief happens.  If you have ever lost a loved one you know that. . . . and you know that you don’t get to pick the time and place of when the event precipitating the grief takes place.

In this month’s installment of the participatory Funeral Professionals Peer Support meeting longtime funeral service veteran and grief expert, Glenda Stansbury facilitates the talk about when we mourn our own.

Stansbury says, “Each year, we support countless families through their grief and each year we also have to navigate our own losses.”  According to a press release from the Cremation Association of North America, Stansbury  “will share her own tips to take care of yourself while you’re grieving and before you can join your colleagues at a memorial service.” This meeting is your time to share, listen, find care and support one another.

This interactive meeting will take place tomorrow night (November 21) at 8 pm Eastern, 7 pm Central time.  For more information on how to join in please click here.
