Every funeral home and cemetery in North America is looking at ways to increase revenues as case mix decidedly moves to lower cost cremation and memorial services from the traditional casketed burial cases.  One of the ways to increase that revenue is to offer several different ways to memorialize cremated remains. . . but, sometimes that is easier said than done with today’s cremation consumer.

According to the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) almost 26% of American households have cremated remains residing in their homes right now.  Finding permanent memorialization for those remains as well as future cremated remains could be a much needed financial “shot-in-the-arm” for funeral homes and cemeteries.
