A small town mortician’s story

This morning Funeral Director Daily posted an article about a small community in Idaho coming together to figure out how to finance the operations of its community cemetery.  In the post, I mentioned that I grew up in a small town and continue to hold many of the Death Care values that my forefathers held.

A reader of Funeral Director Daily sent me this 4-minute video of another small town funeral director in Minnesota that holds those same, “client family-first” values that leads to a community-first business.  The reader thought many of Funeral Director Daily’s readers would enjoy the video. . . and, I agree.

This YouTube video is titled “You can’t take it with you:  A small town mortician’s story“.  I think on the heels of this morning’s article about a community feeling that its cemetery is important enough to keep, you will see a funeral director who believes that his small town neighbors are important enough to serve with all he has to give.
