The culture of your work environment. . that’s the subject of tonight’s CANA Peer Support event
Tonight, Tuesday, July 16 at 8 pm Eastern Time (7 pm Central Time) the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) presents its monthly Funeral Professionals Peer Support Group virtual meeting. This month’s talking point will be facilitated by Peer Support US Program Director Kim Zavrotny and will deal with your working environment.
Here’s what a press release from CANA says about this month’s program:
“We all know that a good job is more than just a job description and a benefits package. A good job is also inspiring, open, and respectful of its employees, and staffed with good leaders and supportive colleagues. Finding our place in a culture of shared values where we’re recognized for our hard work is just as important as the job we perform. It can take some trial and error to find that fit, so how do we manage in the meantime? And how do we know what to look for? . . . . .Whether your office helps you thrive, you’re merely surviving, or you just want to be there in support, we invite you to join in the conversation.”
Peer Support Network is open to all Death Care workers. . . There is no charge to participate. To learn more about tonight’s night’s episode and to register click here.
CANA’s 106th Annual Cremation Innovation Convention is just around the corner. It will be held in Chicago, Illinois, September 11th through September 13th. Here’s what CANA says about this year’s convention:
“CANA Conventions are known for fun, intimacy, lots of food and drink, and great content on the art and science of cremation with a local flavor. This year, the association and its leadership are excited to welcome you to Chicago!
This September, CANA celebrates its 106th Cremation Innovation Convention. This premier event brings innovative cremation professionals together to share ideas, learn from experts, and see the newest products and services from industry suppliers. Bring the family to enjoy all Chicago has to offer – museums, architecture, food, theater, music and more, many located within walking distance from the Convention hotel!”
