Short on staff? . . . . Global Recruiters may be able to help

Bob Heidlage
Global Recruiters of Batesville

If you follow the news you know that employment staffing is difficult all over America right now.  The death care profession is certainly no different.  If you are looking for staff or you are an individual that wants to know what is available in the death care employment field, you need to give Global Recruiters of Batesville a call.

Recently Bob Heidlage purchased the Global Recruiters of Cincinnati and moved it back to Batesville, Indiana, where it was originally founded.  Heidlage will continue the same services with his newly named Global Recruiters of Batesville (GRB).  Those services include serving clients in the funeral, cemetery, cremation, and other death care fields with staffing needs.

Joining Heidlage at GRB will be his daughter, Alex Kistler.  She is quoted in this press release, “Having grown up hearing about funeral homes and cemeteries for as long as I can remember, this feels like a homecoming. I am really excited to be working with my dad in a profession that honors family businesses and values the heritage of generational succession.”

Bob Heidlage is known as one of the nation’s best recruiters.  He was recently awarded “Elite” status among the Global Recruiting Network’s members.  Heidlage has a vast amount of contacts in the death care space having worked for over 30 years in the Preneed, Interactive Technology, and Staffing portions of it.

Here is the website for Global Recruiters of Batesville.

Funeral Director Daily take:  Bob Heidlage is one of those “good guys” of funeral service.  Give him a call if you are looking for help. . . . maybe he can help you out.

Wilbert continues support for First Responders

You can read in this recent press release that the Wilbert Group (Wilbert) has provided a $100,000 donation the First Responders Children’s Foundation in honor of all first responder deaths attributed to Covid-19 exposure while performing line-of-duty actions.

Terry Whitlock, Wilbert’s Sr. Vice President of Licensee Products & Services said this in the press release, “Wilbert is passionately committed to the Commemorating First Responders in support of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.  The COVID-19 virus presented significant challenges in determining if exposure occurred while performing a line-of-duty activity or action. At the same time, the virus changed the manner and speed of funerals to the point where many occurred before a COVID-19 line-of-duty death determination
could be finalized. In response to these challenges, we committed to make a significant donation to a first responder organization that would serve to honor all first responders.”

Funeral Director Daily take:  I’m continually amazed at the generosity of those in the Death Care profession.  And, Covid-19 has been a challenge, but it is a challenge that I see all First Responders, and death care professional “Last Responders” have been up to.  Thank you Wilbert for your generosity and recognizing that fact.

The latest podcast from the National Funeral Directors Association
