Roosevelt Investments. . . our newest sponsor

As we move into August 2021, Funeral Director Daily wants to welcome Roosevelt Investments as our newest sponsor.  Our sponsors help finance our technology, security, and delivery system which allows for readers to receive Funeral Director Daily at no charge.

Roosevelt Investments is a full service New York City investment firm whose roots date back over fifty years to when some of their earliest clients were the Roosevelt family and Youngs Memorial Cemetery where President Theodore Roosevelt is buried.  Building off of that heritage of managing the assets of Youngs Memorial Cemetery, the company has a division focused on funeral service and the cemetery profession.

In addition to doing trust management and financing activities for our profession, Roosevelt Investments offers full service personal solutions for those in the death care business.  These services include, but are not limited to, financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, and trust management.

Interesting to note, Roosevelt Investments Co-CEO Adam Sheer has served as the President of the Suppliers to the New York State Association of Cemeteries.

You can learn more about Roosevelt Investment’s service to the funeral and cemetery profession here.

Funeral Director Daily take:  I’m always one interested to learn more.  On the Youngs Memorial Cemetery website linked above, I found out plenty of information, including the fact that Theodore Roosevelt had six children.  Their biographies are included on the website, and it was interesting to me that President Theodore Roosevelt’s oldest son, Ted, Jr., was the oldest of all Allied participants at Utah Beach on D-Day.  At the time he was 57 years old and, according to the website, was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his valor on D-Day on Utah Beach.  He is buried at the Normandy American Cemetery in France.
