Park Lawn acquires Georgia firm
“Park Lawn (Corporation) has further expanded its strategic growth in the southeast United States” according to a quote attributed to Park Lawn CEO J. Bradley Green in this press release from earlier this week. The expansion Green it talking about is the acquisition of the Cobb Funeral Chapel and the Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens of Moultrie, Georgia.
Green went on to say in the press release, “The Cobb business has an exemplary reputation and has been a staple of its community for nearly fifty years. We are excited to welcome the Cobb team to the Park Lawn family“.
Again according to the press release, the acquired companies have served Colquitt County, Georgia and the surrounding area since 1974. It was noted in the press release that the acquired firm will add approximately 280 death calls and 50 interments to the Park Lawn Corporation numbers.
Southeast Expansion — Here you can see a map of Park Lawn Corporation locations which does indicate a heavy presence in the Southeastern portion of the United States.
