Georgia-based Fidelity Memorial Group acquires Deal Funeral Directors of Statesboro

 

We recently learned, from this article, of the acquisition of the Deal Funeral Directors of Statesboro, Georgia, by the Fidelity Memorial Group based out of Garden City, Georgia.

 

According to the article, the facilty has already been re-branded as the Bulloch Funeral Care and Cremation Center which was done to “reflect new ownership and an expanded approach to serving local families”.  

 

The article continues by saying “The rebranding follows the acquisition of Deal Funeral Directors by Fidelity Memorial Group, a Garden City-based company that has steadily expanded its footprint across southeast Georgia and beyond. Over the past two years, Fidelity has also acquired Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory and Bulloch Memorial Gardens in Statesboro, bringing multiple local funeral service providers under the same corporate umbrella.”

 

Michele Rupar-Smith is the newly appointed director of Bulloch Funeral Care & Cremation Center and made these prepared comments in the newspaper article, “The service, the care, and the staff commitment remain the same,  The only real change families will notice is the name and the additional resources we now have to better serve the community. . . . We’ve had calls daily asking about prearrangements, and the answer is absolutely — they will be honored.  We encourage anyone with questions to come in and sit down with us.”
