Funeral Women Lead to gather “Pulse Survey”

It’s no secret that women are entering the funeral service profession in high numbers. Only a year ago a new organization, Funeral Women Lead, was founded that acknolwedged that fact and set out to make sure that women have support and advancement opportunities in Death Care.
In pursuit of those goals Funeral Women Lead has announced it is introducing an annual “Pulse Survey” for women in funeral service. The organization “. . . will gather confidential input from women across every career stage from students and early career professionals to senior leaders, owners. . . “ and more.
The survey will then deliver, among other items, the following information:
- A yearly “State of Women in Funeral & Deathcare” snapshot that tracks progress over time
- A practical signal system for where support is missing, advancement, mentoring, coaching, training, sustainability, and retention
- Direct guidance for Funeral Women Lead’s resources and programs throughout the year
- Actionable insights for employers and leaders who want to recruit, retain, and advance women more effectively
