Foundation Partners Group, the Orlando based company that has grown by acquisition to over 140 locations of funeral homes, cremation centers, and cemeteries across the United States announced earlier this week that they had acquired the Clark Legacy Center of Kentucky.

According to this press release from Foundation Partners, the acquisition will add three locations to the Foundation Partners network.  Clark Legacy Center operates facilities in the Kentucky communities of Nicholasville, Frankfort, and Versailles.

Again, according to the release, “The Clark Family has been serving their community since 1915 when D.R. Duell opened the first location in Versailles.  Dorsey Clark joining the funeral home in 1946 and his son, current owner and operator David Clark, joined in 1973.  David Clark, and his wife Julie expanded their family funeral home in 2000 with the purchase of an additional location in Frankfort.  Their son, Guy, joined the business in 2003, and their daughter Linzi joined in 2007.”

Justin Baxley, Vice-President of Business Development at Foundation Partners Group had this to say about the acquisition, “Foundation Partners Group’s strategy is to team up with likeminded independent operators in the funeral profession who believe in serving their communities with compassion, innovation and a people focus.”
