We learned from a press release last week that the Davis Whitehall Company, a premier provider of personalized and customized urns to funeral homes in North America recently completed an expansion at their Colorado Springs, Colorado, headquarters.  The expanded manufacturing center now includes over 15,6oo square feet of space and, according to the press release, “represents a meaningful investment in their employees, their customers, and the funeral profession”.

 

The expanded facility will now increase the manufacturing area by more than 50% and a new design center has been added that accommodates four graphic designers along with new engraving equipment and printers.  The shipping and receiving areas have been enlarged as has the space where finished urns can be stored.  The front office area has also been enhanced with the addition of a reception area, additional office space, and a conference room.

 

According to Terry School, President of Davis Whitehall,  “This investment is a transformational step towards improving our ability to provide time-sensitive, innovative solutions to our funeral home customers while building additional supply chain capacity and efficiency.”
