CANA wraps up Innovation Convention, looks forward to Green Funeral Conference

The Cremation Association of North America (CANA) recently wrapped up its 104th Cremation Innovation Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.  More than 60 exhibitors offered solutions for business to all kinds of convention attendees.

Barbara Kemmis, Executive Director of CANA made these comments, “After two years of pivoting, it was wonderful to be surrounded  again by the kind of energy you only get from a Convention.  CANA Conventions are where we celebrate new leaders, build connections with colleagues, and get inspired by experts on new ideas for our business—not to mention the Tradeshow.”

Inspiring speakers and industry roundtables were a part of the convention.

CANA will now focus on the upcoming Green Funeral Conference to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from September 13-15, 2022.  According to the registration form from CANA this conference will (be) “More than just green burial and alkaline hydrolysis, the Green Funeral Conference covers the full spectrum of green practices in funeral homes, cemeteries, and crematories to make your business more sustainable for the planet and for your profitability.”
