CANA Peer Support tomorrow night

It’s the Holiday Season with funeral service. . . .In a recent CANA communication they tell us that means “Long nights, family obligations, and the strain of a busy workplace are often the hallmarks of this festive month”.. . . But they also remind us that  “a connection with your fellow funeral professionals can help alleviate some of the pressure.”

Because of those thoughts the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) will again sponsor a Self-Care for the Holidays Peer Support Group tomorrow night.  Here’s what their press release says:

“On December 19, Kim Zavrotny facilitates the monthly peer support meeting for us all to take some time to unwind with people who “get it.” As Senior Funeral Director at McComas Family Funeral Homes, US Program Director of Funeral Professionals Peer Support, and a dedicated community volunteer, parent, and spouse, Kim understands that this time of year has unique stressors and joys. Join the conversation to share your experience and lend an ear to your colleagues.”

Plan to “connect up” with your peers on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 8 pm Eastern Time, 7 pm Central Time.  For more information and information on how to join the connection click here.
