Afternoon Edition: New hires, webinar information, press releases and death care news

Our popular Afternoon Edition is back in circulation after being out of touch for a couple of weeks due to some of the technical difficulties we encountered at Funeral Director Daily.  Today we will bring you some news of who’s been hired in the industry and some information from our friends at Clifton Larson Allen concerning SBA forgiveness on such things as owner/employee compensation and rent related costs as well as bring you some updates on Death Care news.

As for our technical difficulties at Funeral Director Daily we continue to climb back and are slowly learning our new email notification system and have reconnected with our Twitter followers so we are almost back to (better than) normal and will continue to move ahead with some new features.  We apologize for any inconveniences we have caused our readers.

Press ReleaseOsiris Software partners with Inman Worldwide Shipping

Osiris Software, leading provider of funeral home, cemetery and crematory management software has partnered with Inman Shipping Worldwide offering a Shipping tab on their at-need software.

“We are thrilled to partner with Dave McComb and the Inman team to offer a shipping  solution within our established Osiris at-need software, Kara Ludlum President of Osiris Software. “The Shipping tab integrates with Inman Call Center software and provides a seamless shipping solution for funeral directors”, Dave McComb, CEO Inman Shipping Worldwide.

The shipping tab integration will allow funeral homes to utilize single data entry and efficiency for all their shipping needs utilizing Inman’s vetted network of service providers.  Once a first call is submitted from Osiris’s shipping tab to Inman, Inman goes to work allowing the funeral director to spend more time serving their families.
