RFK, Jr. decision leads to “Kennedy Casket” story revival

Late last week Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. decided to drop his independent bid for President of the United States.  And, I’m guessing that “Google” searches on the Kennedys picked up.  At Funeral Director Daily we noticed an upsurge in an article that we originally produced in 2021 and ran again in 2023.  The 2023 article was titled, “60 years ago today. . .and the story of the Kennedy casket“.

First of all, I think that the number of page views we have received in the last couple of days on this article, making it at present our Top Read article of the last 30 day rolling period, shows the power of being atop Google searches. . . . Funeral homes that are seeking marketing advice in competitive markets should heed that knowledge and make plans to improve your search findings.  If your funeral home is looking for help in internet marketing give the people at Ring Ring Marketing notice and they will help you out.

Secondly, as it pertains to Funeral Director Daily, we must be doing something right since we receive, in our relative numbers, a high volume of selections off the searches.  This is the 2nd time that something in the secular world, not in our general finite Death Care related sphere, has spiked our numbers.  The last time was when the movie “The Burial” debuted on Amazon. . . . since we had written articles about the movie and its funeral home perspective we spiked in readership at that time too.

On to the Kennedy casket. . . . .our story relates how President John F. Kennedy was transported from Dallas to Washington, DC in a bronze casket and buried in a mahogany casket and the question was never asked “What happened to the bronze casket used for transportation?”  However, we uncovered the answer. . . it’s an interesting story and you can learn it by reading this article.
