Security National Life Insurance Company, a stock featured in the Funeral Director Daily Death Care Index (DCI), announced in a press release yesterday that they have sold the Dry Creek Apartments, a 282 unit multifamily complex in Sandy, Utah.  You can read the release here.

The company is involved in three business segments that really does not include apartment complexes.  Their business segments include life insurance, mortgage banking, and death care services.  Security National President Scott Quist did say, “We continue to own, are developing, and will continue to develop in the future, substantial real estate assets in the state.. . . Our real estate activities give us an enhanced return on those core business segments.”
