In a press release that you can read here it was announced that Service Corporation International will, for the 11th consecutive year, be a major sponsor of the “Donate Life” float at the 130th Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1, 2019, in Pasadena, California.

SCI and its brand, Dignity Memorial, will be the sponsor of the float which promotes organ, eye, and tissue donation.  The press release mentions that SCI and Dignity Memorial will help client families honor their loved ones with a portrait featured on the Donate Life float.  These portraits are called “floragraphs” and made of flowers, seeds, beans and other natural materials.  In addition, living donors and recipients will also bring the float to life by riding or walking beside it during the parade.
