Last week we brought you a press release about the renaming of funeral homes in the Sarasota, Florida area.  The funeral homes, operated by Service Corporation International were rebranded with a derivative of the Toale family name.

We also told you in our article that the press release was somewhat odd and vague and we didn’t really understand what it said.

In yesterday’s Sarasota Herald-Tribune, which you can read here, the release became much clearer to us.  The headline of that article is “Toale Brothers – funeral company and brothers – split up”.  Reading this article gives a much more clear understanding of what seems to be happening in the Sarasota market.
