Foundation Partners keeps acquisition train rolling along

Only about ten days removed from announcing the acquisition of a funeral home in northeast Minnesota, Foundation Partners Group made another announcement at the end of last week.  The press release goes on to say that Foundation Partners Group, the private equity backed funeral home and cemetery consolidator and operator, has reached an agreement to acquire The Springs Funeral Services of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The announcement goes on to say that with these two new locations, Foundation Partners will now have ten locations in the state of Colorado.  As a matter of fact, the company already operates All States Cremation which has one of their five locations in Colorado Springs.  You can see their website here.

Tom Kominsky, Chief Financial Officer of Foundation Partners Group had this to say about the recent Colorado acquisition,  “Terri Flores-Brown, Paul Wood and Shelby Calleja, built an exceptional operation that aligns perfectly with our values and the needs of their community. We are very proud to welcome their entire team into the Foundation Partners family and look forward to growing their brand, and the entire Foundation Partners Group footprint, across the Front Range of Colorado.”

Other Funeral Home News:  Here is an interesting article on the Peasgood & Skeates Funeral Homes of Great Britain.  The company, founded in 1847, recently worked through the pandemic and is adding two locations to its roster of five at this time.

According to the article, “Peasgood & Skeates championed a ‘can do’ approach through pandemic and has expanded its business with two new branches. The staff at Peasgood & Skeates have worked very hard this past year to continue to offer the highest level of care to the bereaved. This local independent company has a long history of serving the community and it has always put the client first. While many firms have closed their doors, Peasgood & Skeates’ offices remained open throughout both lockdowns and families were able to make arrangements in the office if preferred and to visit their loved ones in the chapel of rest if they wished to.”

You can see the Peasgood & Skeates website here.
