Foundation Partners adds Washington state acquisition
Foundation Partners Group (FPG), the privately held death care consolidator with headquarters in Orlando, Florida, announced earlier this week an acquisition to add to their 160 plus facilities.
In this press release you can read that FPG acquired the Klontz Funeral Home and Cremation Services company based in Auburn, Washington. According to the press release, this will give FPG 11 locations in the state of Washington. Here is a United States map showing Foundation Partners locations.
According to the press release, “Gary and Judy Klontz are well known in their community for their high level of service and strong value system,” said Tom Kominsky, Foundation Partners Group chief financial officer. “Klontz Funeral Home is a valuable addition to our growing portfolio in the Pacific Northwest and we are thrilled to welcome the entire team to our Foundation Partners family.”
Again, according to the press release, “Gary Klontz has been in the funeral profession for more than 50 years serving the Auburn and Tacoma communities. After starting his career in Tacoma, Gary returned to his home town, Auburn, WA, and purchased a funeral home with his brother-in-law. They sold their business in 1988 and Gary continued to work in funeral management until 2004, when he opened Klontz Funeral Home and Cremation Services. “
