Foundation Partners adds another Colorado location

The state of Colorado has been a hotbed of funeral home and crematory acquisitions in the last couple of years.  Many of  the larger players in the death care space, Service Corporation International, Park Lawn Corporation, and Foundation Partners Group, have all made acquisitions in the state during that time frame.

It was announced on Monday that Foundation Partners Group was making another acquisition in the state when a press release, that you can read here, was released by the company announcing the purchase of Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services of Parker, Colorado.  The addition of this firm will expand Foundation’s Colorado footprint.

Bob Bukala, President and CEO of Foundation Partners was quoted, “Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services makes a great addition to our growing portfolio of funeral operations in Colorado. Steve and Nanci Trevino have set a high standard of service in their community and created a culture and value system that matches ours.”

According to the press release, Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services was founded in 2003.  The press release continues by saying that since that time, “they (the Trevinos) have been committed to giving back through volunteer service and community involvement, including serving in leadership roles in several Parker civic organizations.”

The release concludes by saying that Foundation Partners Group “is one of the largest privately-owned funeral and cemetery operators.  Foundation Partners owns and operates funeral homes, cremation centers and cemeteries in 19 states and is actively seeking to expand its presence throughout the U.S.”
