Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory affiliate with Park Lawn Corporation

In a press release received yesterday, that you can access here, it was announced that Park Lawn Corporation (PLC) has acquired Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory of Jackson, Tennessee. The acquisition will add one free-standing funeral home to Park Lawn’s number of funeral homes. A search of the Park Lawn Corporation website shows this map which indicates that this location will be added to 44 other locations that Park Lawn Corporation operates in Tennessee.

Park Lawn CEO Jennifer W. Hay was well aware of the company’s large Tennessee presence when she mentioned in prepared remarks in the press release, “We are very pleased to further extend our presence in the State of Tennessee through the strategic acquisition of the Arrington business. . . “

A Well-Known name in Funeral Service — Bob Arrington, who owned the company along with his wife, Judy, is a well–known name in funeral service on the national level. According to this information from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), he served as that organization’s President in 2015-2016.

And, just last October (2025), Bob Arrington was honored by the Funeral Service Foundation, where he chaired the board for two years, as the recipient of their Distinguished Service Award. At the time of receiving this award, Funeral Service Foundation Chair John Heald made these comments, “Bob Arrington exemplifies what it means to serve with heart, purpose and vision. His leadership has not only shaped our Foundation but also uplifted countless professionals and families across the country. It is our honor to recognize his enduring legacy with the Distinguished Service Award.”
