Sunset continues to redefine their process of finding assets for families. They recently announced that they have a new website that makes the search for assets even easier.
Sunset is a free service who earns their fee from bank partners after discovered assets sit in an estate account.
It’s a great service that funeral homes can offer their client families and may even be a way to find assets that a client family didn’t even know existed.

OneRoom has launched new AI-powered integrations that cut funeral streaming setup time in half and remove repetitive admin, making life easier for funeral home staff and directors.
The new Obituary AutoFill feature, now rolling out for customers with compatible websites, uses AI-assisted matching to automatically pull obituary details into the streaming booking form. Funeral directors simply start typing a name, and the form completes itself with the deceased’s name, dates, photo and obituary link.
“Setting up a stream isn’t difficult, but it’s still one more task your team doesn’t need,” said Brady Cox, CEO of OneRoom. “This update removes that friction, no retyping, no double-handling, just a faster way to get things done.”With AutoFill, booking a stream takes half the time it used to.
For funeral homes seeking deeper integration, OneRoom now offers full platform connections with Passare and Tukios. These integrations allow funeral directors to schedule and manage a stream directly from within their existing systems. By simply checking a box, all event details sync to OneRoom, creating the event automatically, eliminating double-handling and saving time.
“We just check a box in Passare and it’s done,” said Scott Burns of Washburn McCreavy. “It’s a big time-saver for our team.”
The Obituary AutoFill feature is being rolled out at no cost to all eligible OneRoom customers. The platform integrations are available for those who want to go further, with a nominal one-time setup fee.
These updates reflect OneRoom’s continued focus on reducing workload for funeral professionals, removing unnecessary steps, so teams can stay focused on the more important tasks in their day.

Tribute Technology has announced the launch of a suite of new artificial intelligence tools designed to reduce administrative work for funeral professionals, cut down on online spam, and create a smoother online experience for families.
The new features — including AI-powered guest book moderation, automated event detail capture, and dynamic spam filtering for online forms — are now live on Tribute Technology websites and will be rolled out to all clients this fall. In addition, every client will receive complimentary access to the AI Tribute Obituary Writer, the company’s award-winning tool that helps create meaningful obituaries in minutes.
“These advancements reflect our commitment to building technology that gives funeral homes time back while giving families a dignified and respectful online experience,” said Matt Powell, Chief Technology Officer at Tribute Technology. “By integrating AI directly into the websites our clients already use, we’re cutting out unnecessary steps, automating repetitive tasks, and freeing up staff to focus on the families they serve. All while giving families a better online experience.”
Among the new features is an AI guest book and form moderation system, which automatically reviews condolence messages and submissions to screen out spam, offensive remarks, or irrelevant content. Another tool, AI event capture, identifies and pulls service details like visitation times directly into the obituary editor, reducing the need for manual entry. Tribute Technology has also introduced AI dynamic form moderation, which filters out junk inquiries before they hit a funeral home’s inbox. Together, the tools create a smoother, safer online environment while cutting down on routine tasks.
To further support funeral professionals, Tribute Technology is including the AI Tribute Obituary Writer for all website clients at no additional cost. The tool drafts polished obituary text in minutes, helping funeral directors provide families with meaningful tributes without adding to their workload.

CRON Specialties Launches Revolutionary Funeral Product Inspired by Social Media Frustration
From a press release from CRON Specialties:
Developed and perfected over seven years, the BodyGuard by CRON Specialties is crafted from durable 6 mil polyethylene plastic. Unlike conventional unionalls, the BodyGuard can be heat-shrunk to conform tightly to the body using a standard heat gun, eliminating excess bulk and minimizing noise. It’s cremation-safe and produces fewer chemical emissions than traditional alternatives.
Creator Ron Gresham, who has handled thousands of challenging cases—from trauma victims to advanced decomposition—recognized the need for a more adaptable solution. After extensive field testing through his trade embalming service, he launched CRON Specialties in May 2025. The response has been overwhelming, with orders pouring in from across the globe.
In response to requests from fellow funeral directors, Gresham has expanded the BodyGuard line to include heat-shrinkable pants, sleeves, and stockings, allowing targeted coverage for specific areas such as limbs. These additions further enhance the product’s versatility and ease of use.
“I’m not done yet,” Gresham shared. “There are more ideas in the pipeline to support embalmers and funeral professionals. This is just the beginning.”
