There seems to be an amazing number of technological advances coming into Death Care that can help funeral homes, crematories, and cemeteries enhance the services that they provide.  Many of these breakthroughs can make a Death Care “experience” more meaningful for the families those businesses are serving.

And, it just makes sense, that if you can make the services you provide to families more meaningful to them, it can only be good for business.

One of these technological advances that I’ve noticed recently was introduced by OneRoom and is called “Stories“.  According to a description from OneRoom, “Stories” is “a new feature that creates a set of short, shareable audio clips from funeral services, helping families keep the words and memories they want to hear again.”

Stories allows the most meaningful moments of the recorded livestream of the memorial or funeral event to be selected and turned into standalone audio clips that family members can share on their own time in their own media.

As I mentioned in the main part of this article, technological advances to serve families are coming fast in the Death Care space.  One of the things that I find unique and potentially “brand building” about OneRoom “Stories” is that these shareable memorial service clips can be personalized with the funeral establishment brand.

So, not only are your families able to share these stories, but your brand and image can be built as they do.
