According to the company website of Carriage Services they operate 23 locations in the state of Florida.  It appears that as of last week when we received this press release from Carriage Services that they are adding two more funeral homes to that total.  According to that press release Carriage Services has acquired the assets of Faith Chapel Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pensacola, Florida.

Again, according to the press release and information provided Faith Funeral Homes and Crematory will add approximately 700 services per year to the Carriage numbers.

Steve Metzger, President of Carriage Services made this comment in the press release, “As Carriage enters Pensacola, we do so with the premier funeral home in the market, currently serving approximately 700 families a year. We are excited to continue our focus on partnering with high quality businesses in growing markets, by expanding our significant presence throughout Florida.”
