Here we go again. . . .

For as long as I can remember, those of us who work in Death Care have been un-deservedly percieved by many as part of a strange or dark world. You’re going to see that perception rise again as the new movie “The Mortuary Assistant” will debut in theatres on Friday the 13th of February.
As much as we work to professionalize our occupations we can be assured that Hollywood will work just as hard to portray us as “strange and unusual”. According to this article which appeared in Deadspin, “Epic Pictures and Dread will release “The Mortuary Assistant”, the big-screen adaptation of the popular video game, in cinemas on February 13.
Again according to Deadspin, “The Mortuary Assistant follows newly certified mortician Rebecca Owens (actress Willa Holland), who accepts a night shift at a mortuary, embalming bodies alone after hours. As disturbing events escalate, Rebecca uncovers demonic rituals, the dark secrets of her enigmatic mentor (actor Paul Sparks), and her own buried trauma—racing to survive the night before her body becomes a vessel for possession.”
Following the cinema release it is expected that the movie will stream beginning on March 27.
