After a couple months of testing posts, with a small audience of critics,  to see if I liked doing this I turned the site over to Twitter, Facebook, and Google to try to reach new readers.  Since then, we have been growing in readership organically at about 1.5 – 2% daily.  Thanks for joining up.

Funeral service has been my life’s work and I really loved helping people and operating a profitable business at the same time.  I made a lot of mistakes over 35 years, but I learned a lot too.  Funeral Director Daily is my way of trying to give back, what I know to those coming up in the industry.

On Funeral Director Daily you will read about news in the industry, things that helped me – which may help you, and how the “Big Boys” in the industry are doing — because, I learned, you can learn a lot about what is happening by watching their trend lines, too.

You won’t find horror stories or funny tombstone lines, or hearse jokes on this site. . . .but you will find things that will help you serve your clients better. . . there are few occupations as demanding, but yet as rewarding, as that of funeral director.  Reading here daily will help you get better at it.
