Chinese funeral directors working 24/7

Simply because this is happening in real time we thought we would link our readers to an article that appeared in the Epoch Times yesterday relating to an interview with a funeral director in Wuhan, China, and the work he has been doing, because of the coronavirus,  over the past week.

A Mr. Yun is interviewed in this article and states that since January 28, “90% of our employees are working 24/7. . . we couldn’t go back home”.  Mr. Yun also says that he is picking up bodies every day and needs 100 body bags daily.

He concludes some of his remarks by saying he is “heartbroken” to see so many bodies and to know that many family members couldn’t see their loved ones in the final moment.  Yun says, “We pick up bodies from people’s houses. . . Family members can’t see the body after we remove it”.

The article also is a good reference on how the funeral homes and crematories are operating at this time.  It is also a good reference to show the work of funeral directors, and their compassion, during a medical emergency such as this.
