Alkaline Hydrolysis 2.0™ Solves the Problems with Alkaline Hydrolysis
Denver, Colorado – Sustainable Funeral® solves the known problems with alkaline hydrolysis. In August of 2019, we opened our first Sustainable Funeral location in Denver, Colorado. Our patent pending Alkaline Hydrolysis 2.0™ process and New Life Chamber were invented by two biochemistry professors and an aerospace, systems engineer.
With alkaline hydrolysis (a.k.a. water cremation, Resomation®, or aquamation), the body’s final resting place is a wastewater treatment facility. Many find draining around 98% of a deceased into the sewer as being undignified. Further, sewage treatment plants are left with the problem of dealing with all the fat and around 35% of bones emptied into the sewers from each body processed using alkaline hydrolysis. The wastewater treatment issues have kept alkaline hydrolysis from being offered in lots of states and countries.
A major advantage of Alkaline Hydrolysis 2.0™ is 100% of the deceased is returned to the earth – not the sewer. We enable deceased to be memorialized by having their composted, organic matter (essence) nourish a tree, garden, church grounds, or wherever one wishes to be remembered. We are the only funeral home in Colorado that has chosen not to sell cremation or burial services; instead, we offer the only sustainable way to go! http://www.sustainablefuneral.com
